Banana melon, some 15 inches long. It tasted like a really sweet cantaloupe. I am SO tired of melons that taste like cantaloupe. What ever happened to old-fashioned watermelons that were sweet, juicy and red inside?

Entirely Adequate 
Hey, speaking of produce, would you have any interest in splitting a winter CSA share?
They only have full shares available and I think it would be a bit much for just the two of us. The winter season is 6 weeks long and is $215. They’ve said it will include veggies like “Sweet potatoes, acorn and butternut squash, beets, radishes, lettuces, apples, cabbage, chard, cauliflower, broccoli,bok choy, kohlrabi and more we think”.
Rob and I could pick it up Thursday nights and then we could meet up Friday to hand off produce. : )

I’ll trade you a melon that looks like cantaloupe for some eggplant. I am soooo tired of eggplant.
