Wow, what are beignets? Fried dough? They look good 🙂
They’re a little like doughnuts, only you don’t have to go to the trouble of cutting out shapes. Fried and coated in copious amounts of powdered sugar, they’re a traditional treat in the French Quarter (Cafe du Monde is open 24-7). Delicious.
